Who We Are at PrairieFarmhouseCo.
Our Story
Our journey began in 2018 with a few seemingly small hobbies: a small vegetable garden, 6 chickens and some homemade crafts. At first these hobbies were more of a way to keep busy but overtime we realized that these home made and home grown gifts were too good not to share. Over the years we have steadily grown and have now opened a roadside mini-farmers market where our items are available for purchase.
Our Philosophy
At PrairieFarmhouseCo., we believe that the health of the soil, the health of the plants, and the health of the people are all interconnected. We want to provide our family with balanced-nutrient dense food while teaching our children the way.
I like to think of it as going back to "Our Roots',
About Us
Our "Team" is basically a family affair. Stacy(myself) supports the Homestead daily, creating our next projects, keeping up on current plans and doing all things kid related. Bailey(my husband) works out of home regularly but when available helps with chores and well all my improvement and new projects that I cant handle. Our 3 Children (8,6 and almost 2) can be helpers but mostly prefer to play outside. Our oldest is diving into her first Year of Big Kid 4H, planning to raise Sheep & Pigs.
My Mom is a huge summer support during the warmer months and even sometimes she brings her own harvest to share.
